James Opens Applefields School Kitchen
James attended Applefields Special Needs School in York to officially open the new food technology kitchen. James worked with a group of students cooking a smoked haddock risotto. The money for the new kitchen was raised by The Wooden Spoon charity based in York.

Guest Chef - Burlington Restaurant at the Devonshire Arms Country House
James was a guest chef at the award winning Burlington Restaurant at the Devonshire Arms Country House in Bolton Abbey, North Yorkshire, food festival. The food festival featured 5 dinners from Michelin star chefs from around the country. James showcased a 6 course tasting menu of his signature dishes from the Pipe and Glass.

James held his first cookery school day at Yorkshire Wolds Cookery School, the day included James demonstrating and helping the students cook four dishes from James’ cook book ‘On the Menu’.
