James’ earliest culinary memory is of making Yorkshire puddings with his mum at home in Filey, so it’s hardly surprising that a Sunday roast is an important event for him.
For Sunday celebrations we offer our private first floor dining suite for between 6 and 10 guests, an ideal way to elevate your Sunday Lunch experience.
Enjoy canapés and pre-lunch drinks in the cookbook-lined Chefs’ Library then move through to The Hotham Room to enjoy your choices from our a la carte Sunday menu, which along with seasonal dishes includes roast sirloin of beef, with golden crispy Yorkshire puds or roast pork loin with black pudding sausage roll.

The Hotham Room and Chefs’ Library are situated on the first floor of the building and can only be accessed via a steep staircase which, unfortunately, may not be suitable for guests with additional access requirements.
