DINING


How can I make a restaurant reservation?
Reservations for the restaurant for parties of up to 5 guests can be made online.

For private dining and for parties of 6 and above please call the reservations team on 01430 810246. The office is open 9am- 4pm, Tuesday to Saturday. A deposit of £20 per person is required at the time of booking to secure your reservation

Do you offer outdoor dining?
We offer two outdoor dining locations, the patio within our garden and the picnic benches at the front of the pub. As both areas are uncovered, outdoor dining is subject to the weather conditions. Walk-ins are welcome for outdoor dining, subject to table availability.

Our full range of menus are served outside.

Can I book a table for the bar area?
We do not take bookings for the bar. Guests are welcome to walk-in to dine or enjoy drinks in the bar area.

Are children allowed at the Pipe and Glass?
Of course! Children are welcome in both the bar & restaurant and even have their own ‘Little Peoples’ menu.

Do you cater for restricted diets?
James and his team of chefs are happy to adapt dishes where possible. Please inform our reservations team of any dietary requirements at the time of booking.

Alongside our regular menus we also offer dedicated vegetarian and vegan menus.

What is your table cancellation policy?

Accommodation


How can I make a room reservation?
Accommodation reservations can be made either over the phone or online through our website. Room bookings can be made a year in advance and are released a month at a time, on the 1st of the month. Further details about our accommodation can be found here.

Do you have family rooms?
We are pleased to offer several rooms that are able to accommodate children.

Children will be provided with fold away beds. Should a travel cot be required, this will need to be supplied.

Where are your rooms?
We offer luxury boutique rooms at two locations, both offering the ultimate in comfort and first-class facilities. Choose between the Garden rooms at the Pipe and Glass or The Old Lambing Yard, just a short walk away within the village of South Dalton.

Do you offer a dinner, bed and breakfast package?
Our room rates include breakfast but we do not offer a package to include dinner.

Do you allow dogs?
We do not allow dogs within the Pipe and Glass, this includes the rooms, bar area and restaurant. They are however welcome at the picnic benches at the front of the pub.

This does not affect the use of assistance dogs.

Do you have a dress code?
We do not have a dress code policy at the Pipe and Glass.

Do you offer gift vouchers?
We do! Gift vouchers are available at any denomination and can be purchased online, over the phone on 01430 810246 or directly from the Pipe and Glass. Gift vouchers are valid for 12 months and can be redeemed in the restaurant, bar area, accommodation and shop. We offer vouchers digitally, sent via email or printed vouchers, sent in a presentation gift card.

Do you have a car park?
Yes. Please note that the carpark is accessed by a steep ramp which may not be suitable for low profile vehicles.

Ample residents parking is also available for guests at the Old Lambing Yard.

Do you have a charging point for electric vehicles?
We have a charging point suitable for both Tesla and universal use. Access is available for guest use during our opening hours.

Is the Pipe and Glass accessible?
The bar and restaurant are fully wheelchair accessible. We also have disabled toilet facilities. Regrettably we do not have wheelchair access to our first floor private dining suite. Our ‘Lovage’ room is fully accessible.

How do we get to you?
We are situated in the village of South Dalton in East Yorkshire. Our postcode is HU17 7PN.

The closest train station is Beverley, approximately 8 miles away. If you require a taxi, please contact our team who would be happy to recommend a reputable local firm.

The closest airports are Humberside, Leeds Bradford and Doncaster Sheffield.

Helicopter landing arrangements can be made locally by request, please contact our team for more information.

WE STRONGLY RECOMMEND PRE-BOOKING FOR THE RESTAURANT HOWEVER, WE DO NOT TAKE RESERVATIONS FOR THE BAR, WHERE GUESTS ARE WELCOME TO ‘WALK-IN’ FOR BOTH DRINKS AND DINING.
