How can I make a restaurant reservation?
We do not take restaurant reservations online. To make a booking please call our reservations team on 01430 810246, alternatively you can request a table here.
For special dates or parties of 5 or more guests we do request a deposit of £10 per person to secure the booking.
Can I book a table for the bar area?
We do not take reservations for the bar area, so you are welcome to come along at your convenience.
Can I book for afternoon tea?
We serve afternoon tea as part of our Afternoon Savouries menu in the bar area between 2pm and 5pm, Tuesday – Saturday. We do not take reservations for the bar.
However, for parties of between 6 and 10 guests, afternoon tea can be booked in our exclusive first floor private dining suite, please contact our team for more information.
Are children allowed at the Pipe and Glass?
Of course! Children are welcome in both the bar & restaurant and even have their own ‘Little Peoples’ menu.
Do you cater for restricted diets?
James and his team of chefs are happy to adapt dishes where possible. Please inform our reservations team of any dietary requirements at the time of booking.
Alongside our regular menus we also offer dedicated vegetarian and vegan menus.

How can I make a room reservation?
Accommodation reservations can be made either over the phone or online through our website.
Room bookings can be made a year in advance and are released a month at a time, on the 1st of the month. Further details about our accommodation can be found here.
Do you have family rooms?
Our rooms are designed to accommodate a maximum of 2 guests. Therefore, we are unable to accommodate additional guests, including children within our rooms.
Do you offer a dinner, bed and breakfast package?
Our room rates include breakfast but we do not offer a package to include dinner.
Do you allow dogs?
We do not allow dogs within the Pipe and Glass, this includes the rooms, bar area and restaurant. This does not affect the use of assistance dogs.
Do you have a dress code?
We do not have a dress code policy at the Pipe and Glass.
Do you offer gift vouchers?
We do! Gift vouchers are available at any denomination and can be purchased online, over the phone on 01430 810246 or directly from the Pipe and Glass.
Gift vouchers are valid for 12 months and can be redeemed in the restaurant, bar area, accommodation and shop.
Do you have a car park?
Yes. Please note that the carpark is accessed by a steep ramp which may not be suitable for low profile vehicles.
Is the Pipe and Glass accessible?
The bar and restaurant are fully wheelchair accessible. We also have disabled toilet facilities. Regrettably we do not have wheelchair access to our first floor private dining suite.
Our ‘Lovage’ room is fully accessible.
